MISSION STATEMENT
It is the mission of Preston-Royal Preschool to provide a secure and nurturing environment in which your child is seen as an individual with unique abilities and needs. We offer a variety of hands-on activities to challenge and stimulate your child’s intellectual, social, physical and emotional development. |
| The goal of the Preston Royal Preschool is to provide an atmosphere in which your child can experience independence appropriate to his/her age, develop social skills, and form a positive self image. We want your child to be able to experiment and create, to feel comfortable with and curious about his/her environment, to develop language skills and to understand concepts of all kinds. |
| Our students learn from hands on experiences. Each day, they spend time inside and outside; in quiet and active pursuits; working alone and as part of a group; participating in teacher-directed and student-directed activities. Enrichment specialists provide our four and five year olds with indvidual, one-on-one tutoring in kindergarten readiness. |
| Preston-Royal Preschool is open to children and staff regardless of race, religion, or ethnicity. Financial assistance is available to those who qualify. Preston-Royal, a program of Central Congregational Church, is a nonprofit preschool. The curriculum is nondenominational. |
